Global Study Hub ("Global Study Hub", "we", "us", "our") is an education guidance organisation that helps students explore and pursue international study opportunities. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our website (globalstudyhub.uk) or engage our services.

Through our consultation booking form, application form, and general correspondence, we may collect:

  • Contact and identity details — full name, email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, nationality, country of residence
  • Academic information — highest qualification, year of completion, academic results, transcripts, certificates, English-language test scores
  • Application materials — CV, personal statement/statement of purpose, recommendation letters, research proposals, portfolios
  • Financial information — estimated budget, and financial documents you provide in support of a visa or scholarship application
  • Identity documents — passport copy, where provided
  • Preferences — preferred study destination, subject, level, program, and intake
  • Communication records — messages, consultation notes, and call/WhatsApp correspondence
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, and website usage data (see Cookies, below)
In line with guidance already on our application form, we ask that you do not send original identity or academic documents unless we specifically request them through an authorised process.

  • Prepare and, with your authorisation, submit applications to universities and institutions you choose
  • Provide guidance on visa documentation, scholarships, and English-language test preparation
  • Communicate with you about your application and our services

  • Improve our services and website

  • Performance of a contract — to deliver the services you request (see our Student Service Agreement)

  • Universities and institutions you choose to apply to
  • Scholarship or funding bodies, where relevant
  • English-language test centres or examination bodies
  • Visa/immigration authorities, or accredited agents assisting your visa process, where you've asked for that support
  • Service providers supporting our operations (hosting, CRM, communications), under confidentiality obligations
  • Regulators or authorities, where required by law
We do not sell your personal data.

Because we help students apply to institutions across Europe, the United States, Malaysia, and other destinations, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the UK/EEA, which may have different data protection standards. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards before sharing your data.

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services, and afterwards for five years to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, or to handle disputes.
